Applies to: All version of Centrify DirectSecure Agent for *NIX
Question:
Does Centrify DirectSecure Agent for *NIX supports RSA 4096 as cert key length?
Answer:
There is no hard limit on the RSA key length. The DirectSecure uses OpenSSL for generating the RSA public/private key pair. Therefore as long as OpenSSL supports, it's supported by DirectSecure.
NOTE:
Please be aware that increasing the key length also increase the processing time. For instance, when using 16384 bit key length in the certificate template, DirectSecure Agent could not work properly due to the timeout in GP processing.
