Tips for finding Knowledge Articles

  • - Enter just a few key words related to your question or problem
  • - Add Key words to refine your search as necessary
  • - Do not use punctuation
  • - Search is not case sensitive
  • - Avoid non-descriptive filler words like "how", "the", "what", etc.
  • - If you do not find what you are looking for the first time,reduce the number of key words you enter and try searching again.
  • - Minimum supported Internet Explorer version is IE9

KB-9625: Multiple Cloud Connectors not appearing in Tenant Portal

When turning on a secondary cloud connector (for redundancy purposes) it replaces the existing connector from the tenant portal. Only one connector will be visible, and when investigating each connector control panel on the host servers, one will appear to be running while the other is stopped or when started will hang indefinitely.

This is often the case when a machine carrying the connector installation is cloned, as is often seen when using virtual machines. The cloud connector software is unique in that it must be installed separately for every instance.
Only when the connector tool is installed independently will the tenant display multiple connectors.
