Tips for finding Knowledge Articles

  • - Enter just a few key words related to your question or problem
  • - Add Key words to refine your search as necessary
  • - Do not use punctuation
  • - Search is not case sensitive
  • - Avoid non-descriptive filler words like "how", "the", "what", etc.
  • - If you do not find what you are looking for the first time,reduce the number of key words you enter and try searching again.

KB-9463: Task Bar Context Menus Are Not Available in an Elevated Desktop

Problem: 
  
On an elevated desktop, in Windows 10 or Windows 2016, the context sensitive menus for items in the task bar are not available using the <Right><Click> on the icon.

Solution:

The elevated desktop is working as designed.  <Right><click> on task bar icons is not supported.
