Question:

How does one completely remove the Centrify Connector after its been decommissioned or uninstalled?

For example, in the Centrify DirectControl agent adinfo -y cloud is still showing the old connector. adflush -c does not clear or remove the old connector.

Answer:

During the registration of the cloud connector a SCP object is created under the Computer object in AD. This is not automatically removed when the Connector is uninstalled or removed.

Steps to Remove:
1) Open ADSI Edit
2) Navigate to the Computer Object where the Connector was installed
3) Remove the Proxy SCP object
4) Return to the client machine and run adflush -c
