What are the requirements for Perl that are neccessary so that group policies can be implemented successfully?
Question: What is the Perl path requirement for group policies?
Answer: DirectControl group policies require a version of Perl to be installed and located in the path. If Perl is not found in the path or has been installed in a non-standard location, errors may be encountered when group policies are applied or the adleave command is executed.
If Perl is installed on the local computer but not included in the path by default, manually edit the shell script /usr/share/centrifydc/perl/run to add the correct path to the front of the PERL_DIRS environment variable.
This applies to all versions of Centrify DirectControl on all OS platforms
