KB-9057: The Group Policy that Enables or Disables DirectAudit is Missing in the DirectAudit GPO templates

Centrify DirectAudit ,

17 August,17 at 01:56 PM

Applies to:  All Versions of DirectAudit

Problem:

The Group Policy that enables or disables DirectAudit is missing in the DirectAudit GPO templates

Workaround:

A generic Group Policy can be used to execute the dacontrol command to enable or disable DirectAudit.
Before executing the generic policy, the machine needs to have a DirectAudit installation defined via

# dacontrol -i <InstallationName>

Use the following generic Group Policy to execute "dacontrol -e"

Computer Configuration -> Policies -> Centrify Settings -> Common Unix Settings -> Specify commands to run.

Configure the GPO to execute:

# dacontrol -e
or
# dacontrol -d
