KB-8445: Nexenta users unable to connect Centrify ldapproxy when SMBv1 is disabled in AD

Centrify DirectControl ,

26 May,17 at 11:30 PM

Applies to: All versions of Centrify DirectControl on all platforms.

Question

Nexenta is Solaris network attach storage (NAS) which integrates with Centrify through ldapproxy.
After disabling SMBv1, domain level users reported they are no longer able to have the access to network share device. Does Centrify ldapproxy have something to do with this issue?

Answer:
Centrify ldapproxy is not the culprit for this issue. When Centrify ldapproxy was been removed completely out the authentication role, the issue still remains.
Nexenta (NAS) is not a Centrify product, please kindly contact Nexenta to address this issue.
