Tips for finding Knowledge Articles

  • - Enter just a few key words related to your question or problem
  • - Add Key words to refine your search as necessary
  • - Do not use punctuation
  • - Search is not case sensitive
  • - Avoid non-descriptive filler words like "how", "the", "what", etc.
  • - If you do not find what you are looking for the first time,reduce the number of key words you enter and try searching again.

KB-8260: How to collect LSA trace on Windows for Centrify Support?

How to:
When run into LSA errors on DirectAuthorize agent on Windows, Support might ask for LSA trace from the affected machine to further investigate the issue.

To collect LSA trace, run the program 'Centrify.DirectAuthorize.Lsa.TraceUtil.exe' located in the DzWin installation folder.

1) Go to c:\program files\Centrify\Centrify Windows Agent\

2) Use the arguments '-start -out <output directory> -level 30'

For example:
>Centrify.DirectAuthorize.Lsa.TraceUtil.exe -start -out c:\trace –level 30

NOTE: <output directory> should be define by yourselves whereas the location you want the output to be saved

To stop the trace, use CTRL-C

3) Please help send the output file to Centrify Support to further investigate the issue.
