Question:

How can an unused Mac license be removed from the Deployment Report without deleting the computer object in Active Directory Users and Computers whilst using Auto Zone?

Answer:

In order to remove a Mac system from the Deployment Report without having to remove the computer object from Active Directory Users and Computers, complete the following steps:

Using Active Directory Users and Computers or ADSI Edit:

1. Right-Click on the desired computer object and choose "Properties"

2. Click on the Attribute Editor tab

3. Locate the operatingSystemServicePack attribute

4. Delete the value in that attribute. (Should be similar to " CentrifyDC X.X.X-XXX:W:CDC)

5. Click apply and OK

6. Go to Start > All Programs > Centrify Server Suite 20xx > Access > Access Manager

7. In the left pane window, expand the DirectManage Access Manager [yourcompanydomain]

8. Click on Auto Zone

9. Right click on the right pane and select ‘Refresh’

10. Run the Deployment Report at Start > All Programs > Centrify Server Suite 2016 > Access > Access Manager > Action > Deployment Report

The Mac system should no longer show in the DirectManage Access Manager, and should also not appear in the Deployment Report.
