Tips for finding Knowledge Articles

  • - Enter just a few key words related to your question or problem
  • - Add Key words to refine your search as necessary
  • - Do not use punctuation
  • - Search is not case sensitive
  • - Avoid non-descriptive filler words like "how", "the", "what", etc.
  • - If you do not find what you are looking for the first time,reduce the number of key words you enter and try searching again.
  • - Minimum supported Internet Explorer version is IE9

KB-8254: User cannot be searched by First or Last name

Problem:

When inviting users or adding users to Roles, the user search does not work when using First Name and/or Last Name.

Cause:

Currently, Centrify Identity Service supports query by sAMAccountName, UPN and displayName. For example, when inviting users or adding users to Roles, Centrify Connector will query the AD with the following filters:

Resolution:

Feature of user search by First Name and/or Last Name is currently at works for future release.
