KB-8225: The processes never close on Linux and Mac machines

All versions of DirectControl before 5.4.1 running on Mac and Linux machines.


When removing a CAC Smartcard from the card reader multiple instances of the are starting but not closing automatically. They must be cleared manually.

This is caused when the csh shell is being used instead of bash. The csh shell won't allow the script to run after the script completes so the process doesn't close.

Go to the script "" and change the line
