KB-8038: Can the Common Language Runtime Server Option in SQL be Disabled for DirectAudit?

29 December,16 at 04:29 PM

Applies to: Centrify DirectAudit

Question:

In the DirectAudit SQL database, the clr (common language runtime) option (clr enable) is set to 1.  Can this setting be changed to 0?

Answer:

Centrify does not advise changing the clr setting. Most of the key functions of DirectAudit run entirely in the CLR environment.  If this setting were disabled, DirectAudit would cease to function.
