Tips for finding Knowledge Articles

  • - Enter just a few key words related to your question or problem
  • - Add Key words to refine your search as necessary
  • - Do not use punctuation
  • - Search is not case sensitive

KB-8021: Is there a way to disable password expiration notification in policy?

Question: 

Is there a way to disable the notification about password expiry after logging into Centrify Admin Portal or Centrify User Portal?

In Centrify Admin Portal > Policies > User Security Policies > Password Settings > Password Expiration Notification, there is no option to disable it.

Answer:

Currently, admin CANNOT disable nor turn off password expiration notification in admin portal.

Users will receive password expiration notification before users' password expires, depending on the days they have configured in policy
