Tips for finding Knowledge Articles

  • - Enter just a few key words related to your question or problem
  • - Add Key words to refine your search as necessary
  • - Do not use punctuation
  • - Search is not case sensitive
  • - Avoid non-descriptive filler words like "how", "the", "what", etc.
  • - If you do not find what you are looking for the first time,reduce the number of key words you enter and try searching again.
  • - Minimum supported Internet Explorer version is IE9

KB-7864: How to add an Apple AppStore app which is not available in U.S. AppStore

Centrify Identity Service, App Edition ,

Problem:

In Centrify Admin Portal > Apps tab > Add Mobile Apps, when searching for an mobile app which is not available in U.S App Store, no results will be returned.

For example, an app called "Versicherung" cannot be found as this app is only available in Germany App Store):

Cause:

By default, Centrify Identity Service will only search the U.S App Store for iOS mobile apps.


Resolution: 

Search "<App name> country:<ISO Country Code>" would help to limit Appstore search in a specific country.
e.g. to search for the app Versicherung which is not available in US but in Germany, type Versicherung​ country:de in the searching field:
