Centrify Privilege Service with Cloud Connector version 16.11.158
While using the Centrify Privilege Manager portal under the “Application” section when attempting to use the “Push Password Management” feature on a service that doesn’t exist you will get an ambiguous error which doesn’t clearly explain what is going wrong. In the example above instead of getting a message clearly stating the application does not exist you get the following:
This is a known issue with Centrify Privilege Service.
Please note the above pattern and any of the following reasons could explain the behavior:
1) Firewall issue
2) Service Account does not exist
