Question: 
What are the steps to Disable or Enable FIPS Mode using Group Policy?  

Answer:  
1.  Open Group Policy Management Editor
2.  Navigate to “Computer Configuration\Policies\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Local Policies\Security Options”
3.  Locate the “System cryptography: Use FIPS compliant algorithms for encryption, hashing, and signing” and double-click it
4.  Set the setting to “Disabled” or "Enabled" and click “OK.”

Optional Steps:
5.  On a domain-bound Mac, open terminal and type "adgpupdate" and wait for it to complete
6.  Reboot
