Question: How to create a report showing policy modification in the last 30 days?Answer:
Create a report with the SQL queries stated below.
SELECT NormalizedUser,WhenOccurred,EventType,SetPath from event where ( EventType = 'Cloud.Core.Policy.PlinkChange' or EventType = 'Cloud.Core.Policy.AddSet' or EventType = 'Cloud.Core.Policy.ModifySet' or EventType = 'Cloud.Core.Policy.DeleteSet' or EventType = 'Cloud.Core.Policy.PlinkOrder')and WhenOccurred > DateFunc('now', '-30')
- Go to Cloud Manager and click "Reports" on top menu.
- Click 'New Report"
- Fill in the name of the report under Settings and click "save"
- Click "Script Editor" and run the following SQL query for a custom report:
5.Click "Role Access" and select the role whom you would like to grant access to.
The above query aims to show if there is any policy modification in the last 30 days.You can change the number from 30 in DateFunc('now', '-30')
to any numbers such as 60 in DateFunc('now', '-60')
to read the policy modification in the last 60 days.The SQL query is very useful for administrators to keep track with the changes in policies and technical support engineers to troubleshoot issues caused by changes in policies.
