Applies to: All versions of Centrify Identity Service
Problem: User encounters the following error when when they press the "start sync" button.
Cause: User is not in the system administrator role
Workaround:
A system administrator adds user into the system administrator role
Login to cloud manager with the account in the system administrator role
Click "Roles" on the top menu
Select 'System Administrator"
Click "Members"
Click 'Add"
Search for the user you would like to add him/her to the "System Administrator" role and click "Add"
Refresh the page and see if the user appears in the "members list" under system administrator. If the answer is "yes",user has been successfully added into the System Administrator role.

The sysadmin role members have access to all Cloud Manager tabs and the Centrify Cloud Connector Configuration Program settings and are the only administrators who can perform the following tasks:
●Add users to or remove them from the sysadmin role. ●Modify the Account Customization tab on the Settings page in Cloud Manager. ●Modify cloud connector settings in the Cloud Connectors tab on the Settings page in Cloud Manager. ●Modify policy sets.
These rights cannot be assigned to other roles.
So please ensure that user has to be system administrator before adding other users to the sysadmin role.
