Tips for finding Knowledge Articles

  • - Enter just a few key words related to your question or problem
  • - Add Key words to refine your search as necessary
  • - Do not use punctuation
  • - Search is not case sensitive
  • - Avoid non-descriptive filler words like "how", "the", "what", etc.
  • - If you do not find what you are looking for the first time,reduce the number of key words you enter and try searching again.
  • - Minimum supported Internet Explorer version is IE9

KB-7587: Android for Work calendar not syncing with error: Internal error [6]

Applies to: Centrify Identity Service, App Edition

Problem: Enrolled devices with an Android for Work policy on their device are no longer in sync with their calendar as expected.

Resolution: The affected end user can access settings within the Gmail app and perform the following step on their device:
  • Under account, choose "corporate"  
  • Choose the account that's not syncing
  • Uncheck the box beside "email" 
  • Check the box again 
  • Restart email app
After restarting the Gmail application, syncing should take place as expected without issue.
