Tips for finding Knowledge Articles

  • - Enter just a few key words related to your question or problem
  • - Add Key words to refine your search as necessary
  • - Do not use punctuation
  • - Search is not case sensitive
  • - Avoid non-descriptive filler words like "how", "the", "what", etc.
  • - If you do not find what you are looking for the first time,reduce the number of key words you enter and try searching again.
  • - Minimum supported Internet Explorer version is IE9

KB-7571: OrgIdMailboxNotFoundException appears when launching the Office 365 app in User Portal

The following error appears when launching the Office 365 app in the Centrify User Portal:

When users launch the Office 365 application from the User Portal, Centrify will redirect login to the user’s Mailbox (OWA) instead of the Dashboard for Office 365. If the license tier assigned to the user does not include Exchange Online (meaning the user has no Exchange Online mailbox), the error above will appear.

If it is intended for users not to be assigned an Exchange Online license but you want to provide SSO for a particular Office 365 service directly, please follow the online help section titled Creating an application that opens SharePoint Online directly to provide direct access to Office 365 services like SharePoint Online, OneDrive, etc. without requiring users to sign-in again. This places a custom bookmark tile in the Centrify User Portal that users can click on to access the target service directly.
