What is the Centrify Agent for Windows 2016.1 update with MFA and where can it be obtained?


Answer:
 

The Centrify Agent for Windows version 2016.1 update with MFA (formerly known as the Windows Agent or DirectAuthorize for Windows), is the latest version of the Centrify Agent that is supported on Windows. This version adds the Multifactor authentication (MFA) Windows login capability to Centrify Server Suite.  With the release of this update, MFA is now supported both at logon and on privilege elevation for Windows, Linux and UNIX. 

This agent may be obtained either from the Centrify Customer Support Portal, or directly from the tenant in the Cloud Manager admin portal

Option 1:  Downoading from the Centrify Customer Support Portal

In the Centrify Customer Support Portal, locate the Centrify Server Suite section titled Component Updates. Select the link that reads:

November 2016 - Centrify Server Suite 2016.1 Agent for Windows.

Option 2: Downloading from a Cloud Manager Tenant

From the Centrify Cloud Manager Portal, using an Admin account, pulldown on the menu below the login account:

Select Downloads.

When the Centrify Downloads window appears, select the Centrify Agents tab.

Once the agent is downloaded, click the .msi to install.
