Administrators may need to perform these actions if a new cloud tenant is created for testing or other purposes. When attempting to add or create a login suffix for a cloud tenant, the following error may be displayed if the suffix is already in use by another tenant:
There are two different methods to manage login suffix entries:
- Delete the login suffix
- Rename the login suffix
In order to perform the below actions, Administrators will need the ability to login to each tenant's Cloud Manager to be updated and be a member of the System Administrator (sysadmin) role.Note:
If unable to login or recover the default cloud admin account provided during tenant registration and do not have a cloud connector to process Active Directory login for alternate administrators, please contact Centrify support
for assistance.Delete Login Suffix
Administrators may choose to delete a login suffix from a cloud tenant via the Cloud Manager settings menu if no user accounts are configured to use the suffix. Cloud Manager displays an error message if you try to delete a login suffix that still has user accounts. To delete a login suffix, remove all of its user accounts or modify the accounts to use a different suffix.

This option provides the easiest method to allow the login suffix to be used by another cloud tenant. Simply rename the login suffix to something like "MySuffix-old"
or append with any characters in a similar manner. The only requirement for a login suffix to be used with a tenant is the suffix name must be unique.
As example, changing a login suffix named "Centrify.com
" to "Centrify.com-old
" allows the use of suffix "Centrify.com
" with a different tenant since the value is unique and no longer used by any other tenant.
