Is it possible to monitor Collector's current state in system registry? and what is the value signifies?

Answer:

One way to monitor Centrify DirectAudit Collector's current state is by monitoring the following registry.

Registry location – HKLM\SOFTWARE\Centrify\DirectAudit\Collector > CurrentState (REG_DWORD)

Here are the values of this registry and their meanings:

State    Meaning
0         Unknown
1         Collector service is stopped
2         Collector is initializing
3         Collector is determining installation
4         Collector installation is not configured
5         Collector is determining Audit Store
6         Collector is not scope of any Audit Store
7         Audit Store is not connected (DB may be offline)
8         Address is in use (configured collector port in use by other application)
9         Running
10         Audit Store disk space is low
11         Audit Store not compatible (Database upgrade needed)
12         Audit Store is full
