KB-7156: Can Centrify DirectAuthorization 'dzdo' run in single-user mode?

Centrify DirectControl ,

19 July,16 at 09:58 PM

Applies to:  Centrify DirectControl on All versions

Question:

Will Centrify dzdo command work in single-user mode?

Answer:

No, single-user mode is in run-level 1.  The adclient should be in connected mode for dzdo to work.  In single-user mode, the root account is needed.  This is a universal UNIX-like OS rule.  This is not a UNIX issue.  In Windows, "Safe-Mode without network" requires local administrator for this.
