Tips for finding Knowledge Articles

  • - Enter just a few key words related to your question or problem
  • - Add Key words to refine your search as necessary
  • - Do not use punctuation
  • - Search is not case sensitive
  • - Avoid non-descriptive filler words like "how", "the", "what", etc.
  • - If you do not find what you are looking for the first time,reduce the number of key words you enter and try searching again.

How to:
By default, Direct Manage uses
"/var/centrifydm" as the working folder. The below process describes how to change the Centrify installation directory on *nix server from /var to anything else.

Process:
O
pen the registry on the Windows server where Direct Manage is installed and go to the "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Centrify\Deployment Manager" key.

Open the Attribute(string) : Workingfolder 

Change the "Value" to the folder you want Centrify to install to on all *nix machines.

Restart the Centrify service.
