Tips for finding Knowledge Articles

  • - Enter just a few key words related to your question or problem
  • - Add Key words to refine your search as necessary
  • - Do not use punctuation
  • - Search is not case sensitive
  • - Avoid non-descriptive filler words like "how", "the", "what", etc.
  • - If you do not find what you are looking for the first time,reduce the number of key words you enter and try searching again.
  • - Minimum supported Internet Explorer version is IE9

KB-7037: After Enabling MFA the User is Unable to Login

Applies to: All version of Centrify Server Suite using MFA.

After enabling MFA, any user who selects the option to use MFA is unable to login at all.


The accounts only have a security question setup for MFA. The account also must have at least a phone number setup on it and, preferably, a phone number and email address. When those are added, MFA should work properly.
