KB-6632:Adclient crashed when maximum connection reached through MFA Cloud Connector

Centrify DirectControl ,

29 September,16 at 11:07 PM

Applies to: MFA setup in pre Suite 2016 releases.

Problem:

Adclient will crash if the incoming cloud connections exceeds the limit set in the adclient.cloud.auth.token.max  parameter.

Cause:

If the number of calls for MFA authorization at one time exceed the number set in the  /etc/centrifydc/centrifydc.conf parameter

adclient.cloud.auth.token.max, new calls for MFA will receive the message " Sorry, try again."  and the adclient process may restart.

Resolution:
This issue has been fixed in Suite 2016 ( adclient version 5.3.0 ).
MFA calls above the number set in the
adclient.cloud.auth.token.max parameter  will receive the message "Exceed maximum cloud authentication connections concurrently"
and the adclient process will not be affected.
