KB-6363: The dzdo Command Hangs Or Has A Long Delay On Solaris and HPUX Platforms

9 March,16 at 08:12 PM

Problem:

The dzdo commands hang or have a long delay on Solaris and HPUX platforms that are joined to zone that have a large amount (i.e. more than 1000) of groups defined.  The delay is seen even when the user belongs to only one or two groups.

Cause:

The issue is due to the internal implementation of sudo and dzdo on Solaris and HPUX.

Resolution:

Fixed in Centrify Direct Control Suite 2016.
