Tips for finding Knowledge Articles

  • - Enter just a few key words related to your question or problem
  • - Add Key words to refine your search as necessary
  • - Do not use punctuation
  • - Search is not case sensitive
  • - Avoid non-descriptive filler words like "how", "the", "what", etc.
  • - If you do not find what you are looking for the first time,reduce the number of key words you enter and try searching again.
  • - Minimum supported Internet Explorer version is IE9

KB-6049: Receiving "Error: App already exists. Upgrade <other app name> if necessary" while uploading mobile app

Adding a new mobile app in Cloud Manager receives the error in below screenshot.

For example, adding 'iKnock' mobile app to Cloud Manager:

If there is APK or binary with the same package name, e.g. '' exists in Cloud Manager, the new application is not allowed to be uploaded to Cloud Manager.

Please check if there is duplicate application deployed already and make the change there.
