Centrify DirectControl ,

12 April,16 at 11:46 AM

Applies to: All versions of Centrify DirectManage Deployment Manager.

Question:
If an account with restrict
sudo policy is used to deploy the agents, what is the list of sudo commands the Deployment Manager needs to execute in order to perform UNIX agent installation and computer information refresh?

Answer:

Attached is a sample
/etc/sudoers file configured with a sudo policy for a non-root account restricted to allow only the commands that are needed by Deployment Manager to perform its tasks.

NOTE: This sample
sudoers is specific to RHEL 6.2 x86_64, Solaris 9 x86 (MinPatch), AIX 7.1 (TL3-SP3), HPUX 11.23 IA (MinPatch), Mac 10.10 x86_64. This file can only used as reference and cannot be copied as is. Please define the sudo policy according to the OS of the *nix machine. It is important that the quotes and back slashes are there and the part after the -c of each line not being altered.
