KB-5751: Selecting 'Username' from Events table does not return full content in Reporting

Centrify DirectControl ,   Centrify Identity Service, App Edition ,

12 April,16 at 11:46 AM

Applies to: All versions of Centrify Identity Service.

Problem:

Selecting Username from Events tab in Report does not yield the full content.

Username SQL
Username

Cause:
The Events table has a lot of columns, but not all of those columns are applicable to all events types. UserName is only used for some events (typically ones with a 2nd applicable user).

Resolution:

Use NormalizedUser instead as it is the 'user name' for all events types.
