  • - Enter just a few key words related to your question or problem
  • - Add Key words to refine your search as necessary

KB-5525: Failed to verify account information when enabling provisioning for Box with "SSO required"

When trying to provisioning for Box, it failed to verify the account with the error "Invalid Credentials". Credentials are confirmed to be correct.


Currently Centrify does not support Box account which is configured to be "SSO required".


Please contact Box support to turn off "SSO required", and instead turn on "SSO enabled".

Note: Please check following explanation for "SSO enabled" and "SSO required" AND
it is not the setting per user account, but per enterprise.

- SSO enabled: allow both SSO and username/password login
- SSO required: force SSO for all login attempts


An enhancement request has been raised to enhance the Box app in Centrify web catalog.
