KB-5450: Incorrect service status return code for centrify-sshd

Centrify DirectControl ,

1 July,15 at 10:54 PM

Question:

Why is a non zero code returned when the  CentrifyDC-openssh service is not running?

Answer:

The cdc-sshd service will follow the LSB standard if run by sysvinit, but if it is run by other service controller, such as upstart, the return  code will follow its controller's standard instead.

Please note that upstart return code is not same as the LSB code.
