KB-5322: Built-in report for jailbroken iOS devices is not correct

Centrify DirectControl ,   Centrify Identity Service, App Edition ,

12 April,16 at 11:14 AM

Applies to: All versions of Centrify for Saas.

Problem:
When using the built-in report located at Reports > Builtin Reports > Mobile > Jail Broken Devices per User, the number of jailed broken devices are not correct.

Cause:
The script in the built-in report is not correct:
select ID AS _ID, Owner, Name FROM device
 WHERE JailBroken=-1 ORDER BY Owner
The value for "JailBroken" should be 1 instead of -1

The full meaning of the Jailbroken variable is:
1 Jailbroken
0 Not jailbroken
-1 Unknown
The jail broken state is unknown if the device is a Mac or is not enrolled using the Centrify app.

Workaround:
Manually create a new report with the following query:
select ID AS _ID, Owner, Name FROM device
 WHERE JailBroken=1 ORDER BY Owner

Correct query for jail broken devices

Resolution:
Fix will be applied in future releases.
