KB-5297: How to run AD Check from the Terminal on Mac OS X

Centrify Identity Service, Mac Edition ,

7 May,15 at 06:31 PM

Applies to: Centrify DirectControl for Mac

Question:

How can AD Check be run from the Terminal?

Answer:

After installing the Centrify agent for Mac, AD Check can be run via either the GUI or via the CLI (Terminal).

AD Check can be run from the Terminal with the following command:

/usr/share/centrifydc/bin/./adcheck domain.tld

(Where "domain.tld" is replaced with the actual domain name of the organization)

If AD Check needs to be run on a Mac where the Centrify agent has not been installed, a separate download for can be found on the Customer Download Center:

Note: Please be aware the above download is for the standalone command line version of AD Check only. For the GUI version, download the full Centrify agent for Mac (DMG version) - the GUI version of the AD Check can be found in the DMG and can be executed without installing.
