Tips for finding Knowledge Articles

  • - Enter just a few key words related to your question or problem
  • - Add Key words to refine your search as necessary
  • - Do not use punctuation
  • - Search is not case sensitive
  • - Avoid non-descriptive filler words like "how", "the", "what", etc.
  • - If you do not find what you are looking for the first time,reduce the number of key words you enter and try searching again.

KB-5192: How do I enable Centrify licensed features on a Mac?

Question: 

How to switch from Express mode to Licensed mode so the licensed features are enabled?


Answer:

There are two methods for enabling Licensed mode on the Centrify agent:

Option 1: Change via the GUI through Centrify Join Assistant
  1. Open System Preferences and select the Centrify preferences.
  2. Click the "Centrify Join Assistant" button and click through to the second screen.
  3. Click the "Change to Licensed Mode" button.

Option 2: Change using a command via the Terminal app (command can also be run remotely via SSH)
  1. Login to the Mac as a Local Admin.
  2. Open the Terminal app.
  3. Run the following command: sudo adlicense -l
