KB-51054: Centrify DirectAudit Collector Control Panel "View Log" and "Options" buttons are greyed out

Problem:

The Centrify DirectAudit Collector Control Panel "View Log" and "Options" buttons are greyed out

Cause:

The "View Log" and "Options" buttons on the Troubleshooting tab of the Collector Control Panel will be in a disabled state if the "Centrify Common Component" has not been installed on the target system. The "Centrify Common Component" installs the Centrify Logger service which must be running in order to enable application logging across all the Centrify Server Suite components.


Solution:

Install the Centrify Common Component on the host system. Re-open the Centrify DirectAudit Collector Control Panel, the buttons should now be enabled.

The Centrify Common Component package is located in the Centrify Infrastructure Services Management download package. This package can be downloaded from the Centrify download center.
