KB-50826: Cannot Open Shared Object File

Authentication Service ,

31 March,21 at 03:54 PM

Problem: When trying to run Centrify commands as a user other than root, the following error message shows:

\usr\share\centrifydc\lib64\: error while loading shared libraries cannot open shared object file, no such file or directory.

1) Reinstalling CentrifyDC does not help with the issue.

2) Modifying the libpath to use \usr\share\centrifydc\lib64\ works as a workaround.

Cause: The STIG requirement for "fapolicyd" is causing the issue.

Resolution: Please disable fapolicyd then restart CentrifyDC. Appears there is an issue with the way RedHat handles this STIG setting. Please contact RedHat for further support.
