Tips for finding Knowledge Articles

  • - Enter just a few key words related to your question or problem
  • - Add Key words to refine your search as necessary
  • - Do not use punctuation
  • - Search is not case sensitive

KB-5026: There is no "All" option for "Period to sync email" in Exchange Settings policy

Question: 

In native email client on Samsung devices, "All" can be selected as the sync period of email as below:

However, "All" option cannot be found in the following policies in Centrify Cloud Manager:

- Samsung KNOX Device Settings > Exchange Settings > Sync Options

- Samsung KNOX Workspace Settings > Container Settings > Exchange Settings > Sync Options

What is the reason of that?

Answer: 

The API that this policy calls only supports fixed values for this parameter. As "All" is not a fixed value, "All" option is not available in this policy.

Please set the value of "Period to sync email" to one of the listed values (1 day, 3 days, 1 week, 2 weeks, 1 month) in the above mentioned policies.
