KB-5025 Can the Tectia ssh client be used to authenticate via Kerberos to Centrified Linux systems

26 December,14 at 09:50 PM

Question:
Can the Tectia ssh client be used to authenticate via Kerberos to Centrified Linux systems.

Answer:

Yes, If SSO is functioning ( tested with Putty ) you need to  go into the properties for the profile and move GSSAPI to the top under" Configure user authentication methods and their preferred order"

Once that was done you should be able to SSO into a Centrified Linux system using the client.

This was tested with version 6.4.6.215 of the Tectia SSH client for windows.
