Question: How do I get the installed/running DB2 & Centrify DB2 Plugin version?

Answer: To get the DB2 version running / installed on the Linux Server run the following command(s) below:

$ db2 get snapshot for dbm | grep -P "(Product name|Service level)"

// Output Example

Product name                               = DB2 v9.7.0.5
Service level                                  = special_29283 (IP23292_29283)

OR 


$ db2level 

// Output Example

DB21085I Instance "db2inst1" uses "64" bits and DB2 code release "SQL09075" with level identifier "08060107".
Informational tokens are "DB2 v9.7.0.5", "special_29283", "IP23292_29283", and Fix Pack "5".
Product is installed at "/opt/ibm/db2/V9.7"

To get the Centrify DB2 (Plugin) version running / installed on the Linux Server run the command below:

rpm -qa | grep Cent
