KB-3925: How to add Centrify parameter to a group policy

Centrify DirectControl ,

12 April,16 at 11:07 AM

Applies to:  Centrify DirectControl Group Policy on All OS platforms

Question:

Is the parameter in /etc/centrifydc/centrifydc.conf for dzdo.timestamp_timeout controllable by group policy?

Answer:

Use the 'Add centrifydc.conf properties" group policy to add configuration parameters to the Centrify Suite configuration file.  Please read the attached documentation "Group Policy Guide" on page 36 "Direct Control Settings Group Policy" on how to enable it.

In general, Centrify provides GP for the most commonly used parameters. For all other parameters which do not have a GP, the general purpose GP
'Add centrifydc.conf properties" can be used as long as its present in the /etc/centrifydc/centrifydc.conf file.
