KB-3165: Users added to Zone do not appear until adflush is run

Centrify DirectControl ,

12 April,16 at 11:09 AM

Applies to: All versions of Centrify DirectControl

Question:

Why do newly added members to a Zone not appear under the adquery command unless an adflush command is run to manually refresh the cache?

Answer:

Centrify will always reference the locally cached information unless an action is performed that requires the information to be compared against Active Directory (such as attempting to login as a newly added user).
