12 April,16 at 11:45 AM

Applies to: All versions of Centrify Direct Audit.

Question:

How can the user in the master auditor role which was used to install the software be deleted?

It is observed that it is possible to delete it in the panel - however it remains unresolvable from the Security tab in master audit properties.

Answer:

Steps:
1. Right click the installation in the DirectManage audit Manager and select Properties
2. Go to the security Tab
3. Add a new admin and select the same permissions as the current Master Auditor.
3. Log out of the system and log back as the Original admin account.
4. Right click the installation in the DirectManage audit Manager and select "Management Databases"
5. Highlight the Management Database and select Properties
6. Click the change button and select the new admin.
7. Click OK, click close

3. Log out of the system and log back as the New admin account.
8. You should now be able to go to the security Tab within the DirectManage audit Manager and select Properties and remove the original admin that installed the Console.
