Tips for finding Knowledge Articles

  • - Enter just a few key words related to your question or problem
  • - Add Key words to refine your search as necessary
  • - Do not use punctuation
  • - Search is not case sensitive
  • - Avoid non-descriptive filler words like "how", "the", "what", etc.
  • - If you do not find what you are looking for the first time,reduce the number of key words you enter and try searching again.
  • - Minimum supported Internet Explorer version is IE9

KB-3113: How to configure a multi-home system to connect with Deployment Manager

Problem:
 
The following message is displayed when connecting to a computer or server from Deployment Manager:
 
"This machine's subnet is not known by AD"

 
Cause:
 
This may be caused by connecting to a computer or server that is multi-homed. Multi-homed systems have multiple IP addresses. 

 
Resolution:
 
Add the computer subnet in Active Directory Sites and Services
 
- On domain controller, open Active Directory Sites and Services
- Expand Sites
- Right click on Subnets
- Click New Subnet
