Question:
How to remove the default group setting once it is configured for classic zone?
Answer:
You can remove the default group setting as follows:
1. Open adsiedit console by typing
adsiedit.msc
in Run
2. Browse for the zone
e.g.
CN=Linux,CN=Zones,CN=Centrify,CN=Program
Data,DC=iltest,DC=net
3. Right click on the zone CN and find the description attribute
4. Remove the entry "
defaultgid: XXXXX
" in description attribute
Now the default group configuration has been removed:
