Tips for finding Knowledge Articles

  • - Enter just a few key words related to your question or problem
  • - Add Key words to refine your search as necessary
  • - Do not use punctuation
  • - Search is not case sensitive
  • - Avoid non-descriptive filler words like "how", "the", "what", etc.
  • - If you do not find what you are looking for the first time,reduce the number of key words you enter and try searching again.
  • - Minimum supported Internet Explorer version is IE9

KB-2725: AD properties dialog in DirectControl console does not show all tabs

Applies to: All versions of DirectControl Console.
When a user opens the AD properties dialog of a user/group in ADUC, the user can view all the tabs:
(General, Address, Account, Profile, etc. for Users/Members.)
(Member Of, Object, etc. for Groups). 
But when the same user opens the AD properties of a user/group in the Centrify DirectControl console, the user can only see certain tabs.
For the AD properties dialog, the console will query the system for the the pages shown in ADUC. 
But depending on the status of the machine (e.g. whether the machine has joined the domain, whether the ADUC snap-in is installed, etc.), some of the pages may be missing.
To get all the pages, please install the ADUC snap-in:
1. Server Manager -> Add Features
2. Remote Server Administration Tools
  -> Role Administration Tools
  -> AD DS and AD LDS Tools
  -> AD DS Tools
3. Select "AD DS Snap-Ins and Command-Line Tools" to install
