KB-2552: How does Centrify work with File Level ACLs on AIX servers?

Centrify DirectControl ,

12 April,16 at 11:10 AM

Applies to: All versions of Centrify DirectControl on AIX

Question:
How does Centrify work with File Level ACLs on AIX servers?

Answer:
Centrify on AIX does not add any extra rights to existing UNIX Users on AIX. New users can be added in AD to provide those new users AD rights or group privileges on the AIX machines once joined to the domain with Centrify.

File level ACLs will be enforced with AD users' UID and GID once joined to the domain with Centrify.
