Question:

Is possible for systems to be cleaned up from Centrify Tenants and AD/Access Manager when EC2 instances are terminated?

Answer:

Yes, some new scripts have been added in the latest release (November 2019) to the Centrify AWS-Automation GitHub scripts, that will clean-up EC2 instances from Centrify Tenants and Active Directory/Access Manager when they are terminated in AWS.

Those new cleanup scripts are:

centrifydc-adjoin.service
centrifydc-adleave.service

centrifycc-enroll.service
centrifycc-unenroll.service

And are called/referenced in the startup-userdata.sh script

The Centrify AWS-Automation GitHub scripts can be found at the following link: https://github.com/centrify/AWS-Automation
