KB-2431: Offline login fails after reboot on Mac systems.

Centrify Identity Service, Mac Edition ,

12 April,16 at 11:13 AM

Applies to: Centrify DirectControl versions earlier than 5.0.3 on Mac OS X

Problem:

Offline login fails after reboot on Mac systems.

Cause:

adclient.cache.encrypt might be set to true in /etc/centrifydc/centrifydc.conf .

When this parameter is enabled, the cache is encrypted with a one-time key and cannot be used upon restart.

Solution:

Switch off encryption of the AD cache in the centrifydc.conf and restart the adclient:

adclient.cache.encrypt: false
